  • SHELBY FARMS PARK

6903 Great View Dr N, Memphis, TN 38134

5000 acres in the middle of Memphis – it’s our Central Park on acid. Everything from horses and buffalo to canoes and fancy restaurants, dog parks and the most amazing playground on Earth.

  • OVERTON PARK MEMPHIS

    1914 Poplar Ave #202, Memphis, TN 38104

In the heart of Midtown, this place contains the Zoo and a golf course but my favorite things are the meandering paths through the Old Forest, the playground next to Rainbow Lake and the dog park, Overton Bark.

  • SHELBY FARMS GREENLINE

Shelby Farms Greenline & Tillman Street

Awesome dedicated bike path mostly along a converted railroad spur connecting Shelby Farms to Overton Park and beyond. Connects with the equally awesome Wolf River Greenway bike path at Shelby Farms.

  • SHELBY FOREST STATE PARK

910 Riddick Rd, Millington, TN 38053

Half an hour drive north of Memphis, this park abuts the Mississippi river and features some good camping and great trails across some interesting topography and old-growth forest. Good place to ride a bike. If you map “The Dock” and stop a little short of it at the dog leg in the road, you can usually hike down to one of the biggest sand bars on the Mississippi.
